Alan Grossman, MD, FACC, FASNC
Alan M. Grossman, M.D. received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internal medicine residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. He completed his cardiovascular diseases fellowship at Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA where he attained Level III Certification in Echocardiography. He practiced noninvasive cardiology for 6 years in New Jersey before joining Heart & Vascular Center of Arizona in 2006.
Dr. Grossman is the Medical Director of the Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography Laboratories for our practice and has special interests in clinical and consultative cardiology. He has expertise in specialized cardiovascular imaging including nuclear cardiology, transesophageal echocardiography, and dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiography. He is the Medical Director of Noninvasive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation for Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Dr. Grossman is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
