Steven Baik, FNP

Steven has been dedicated to the nursing field since 2015, with a strong focus on cardiovascular care. He earned his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona in 2023, building on a solid foundation of experience. Before joining the Heart Vascular Center of Arizona in 2024, Steven spent eight years at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix campus, where he cared for patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, heart transplant, and advanced heart failure.

Steven is deeply passionate about promoting cardiac health and advocating for preventive health initiatives to improve the well-being of his patients. Originally from California, he moved to Arizona with his family during his high school years and now resides in Mesa with his wife, an elementary school teacher, and their three sons: Jordan, Ethan, and Matthew. Steven’s early education in Korea, coupled with his bilingual proficiency in English and Korean, has enriched his ability to connect with diverse patient populations.

In addition to his clinical practice, Steven is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and currently serves as president of the Arizona Korean Nurses Association. Through this role, he works to improve public health and ensure healthcare accessibility for Arizonans facing language barriers.
